Fabrícia de Almeida Henriques


Fabrícia de Almeida Henriques is, currently, a consultant at HRA Advogados, a firm that she founded in 2012 and of which she was the Managing Partner until June 2021. She is a non-equity partner at Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva, firm she joined in 1997, having been the coordinator for Mozambican matters in the Morais Leitão Legal Circle network up to June 2021.

She has vast experience in Mozambican law, her activity in recent years having primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law, advising national and international clients and institutions in the development of high-profile projects ranging from energy, mining, infrastructure, construction and real estate development.

Fabrícia has a master’s degree in civil law from the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon.

In academia, she was a Lecturer at the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon from 2000 to 2011. In Mozambique, Fabrícia lectured at the Eduardo Mondlane University and the Superior Institute of Science and Technology of Mozambique.

She is a member of the Mozambican Bar Association and of the Portuguese Bar Association and a member of the Jurisdictional Council of the Mozambican Bar Association.

Fabrícia regularly contributes to several international publications, having been distinguished by international directories, such as Chambers and IFLR.
