Fabrícia de Almeida Henriques


Fabrícia de Almeida Henriques is the managing partner of HRA Advogados, the Mozambican member of Morais Leitão Legal Circle, which she founded in 2012.

She joined Morais Leitão in 1997, where she is currently a non-equity partner and the firm’s coordinator for Mozambican matters.

Registered with the Mozambican and Portuguese Bar Associations, Fabrícia gains relevant experience in the Mozambican market by advising private investment in all its features with particular focus on energy, infrastructure, and real estate.

Currently, her activity focuses on legal advice to national and international clients in significant M&A operations, namely in the area of energy, infrastructure, and real estate.

Fabrícia actively took part in several privatisations involving Portuguese companies, as well as in transactions in the area of project finance.

Fabrícia is a member of the Jurisdictional Council of the Mozambique Bar Association.

In academia, she was a lecturer at the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon from 2000 to 2011. In Mozambique she lectured at the Eduardo Mondlane University and at the Superior Institute of Science and Technology of Mozambique.

Fabrícia regularly contributes to several international publications, having been distinguished in the context of Mozambican law by international directories such as Chambers and IFLR.
