Investment Guide for Mozambique

HRA Advogados assisted International Trade Center in the development of a step-by-step Investment Guide for Mozambique, promoted toward foreign investors, especially Chinese and focusing on the agro-processing and light industry sectors. The Guide provides very complete and comprehensive guideline on the mandatory steps that foreign investors are subject to in Mozambique, from the incorporation of commercial vehicles, registration in the relevant entities (Registry of Legal Entities, Tax Authority, Bank of Mozambique, etc.), compliance with regulatory bodies, covering migration, import and export, investment in Special Economic Zones and Industrial Free Zones, among others. This investment guide has been produced under the framework of the Partnership for Investment and Growth in Africa (PIGA) project, financed by the Government of the United Kingdom (UK) of Great Britain and Northern Ireland’s Department for International Development (DFID).
